Lu came in this morning.. 4 am she never gets up in the middle of the night.

Mom I need to tell you about my dream. Ok? Was it a bad dream?
No mom, I dreamed about an angel.

I asked a bunch of questions and She couldn't tell me anything except the angel was pretty and had wings. But pretty neat as she never remembers her dreams, or wakes up in the middle of the night, And her day two days ago.

God is doing big things in her life right now.

Lucy's Prayer

We were eating dinner last night when I chimed in... Mmm baked chicken you know who use to make baked chicken?? Nana TJ. River asked Mom? Is Nana still with God? No River Nana is here. Grama Di is with Jesus... In heaven. Lucy asked When is she coming back? Oh... Well She's never coming back Lucy she get's to spend the rest of eternity with God... Who elses is in heaven mom? Well there's Mimi's mom and dad, and there's all the bible characters like Moses and Joseph..

Mom.... Will I go to heaven? UM... um well Lucy, people who go to heaven are those who have received Jesus in their heart? "What's received?" Well... They are people who pray a prayer and they say that they believe that Jesus came to earth to die for their sins, and they live their life to please God. And they know that they need Jesus to help them and they can't live with out him."

Mom... Can I pray that Prayer... Ummm... Yes... Yes you can... *We pray... she prays*

Mom... We should go share God's love with people. I know how we can do it we have the bags.. 

UM... OK..  where do you want to go??...

Let's go to the park right now.... Um.... Uh... OK. Go get your shoes on...

We shared with several people last night. None of them went to church... none of them had a personal relationship... I wish I was better at sharing more forward, more bold... Lucy and River walked up boldly to people and handed out bags, they all have tracts in them and things about God for the kids... Praying that God makes up the difference...

They swung on the swings and played on the playground too... :)
I wish Dustin would have been here...

The Big K

You will have to excuse my voice and the video movement... Irritated just listening! But Lucy's voice is too sweet to pass up!

We made it... The first day down of the rest of her educational life... Only about 16 more years. Whew.
Lucy was incredibly confident, and so happy. We are so thankful we did not start her in preschool this past year. On the way home Dustin and I reminisiced about the day she was born, before she could walk and all the time leading up to such a big day in her life. 8-3 every day... Eesh.  I bawled. like a baby. My heart just ached. For some reason this was different that MDO, besides the fact that it's mod was 2 times a week, there is something that feels more permanent about this one... More like letting go than the previous years.

But I'm also thankful for all this time we have spent at home. I feel like we have done to the best of our ability things right. 5 years of time well spent, forgoing some ladder that would have to end. SO thankful to be able to work at home. I hope we have somewhat prepared her for what's coming ahead, God will make up for our shortcomings. For that we are thankful...

Christmas Party

The girls had been MIA for almost an hour. I went back to find this. I'm pretty sure every toy in the room was taken out and displayed for the party. Clean up awesome

Cowgirl party

Woohoo I can't believe this is all the pictures I got!! But big thanks to my sis who made most of the food. Lucy's favorite part was the games. Dustin korey and mason were the bandits and the kids took turns water gun shooting and balloon slinging. We also had seed spitting just like the camp lookout days! Fun was had by all!

Lucy is 5

Lucy I can't believe you are 5. You have grown so much! You continue in your desires to have a very ordered, structured life. You are an amazing artist and most days you wake up and start drawing as soon as your feet hit the floor. You obey quickly, and you are surprising us more and more with your openness towards people, your willingness to greet others, and your readiness to make friends with others. Most people who come across you find that you are sweet and gentle, a true delight to be around. You are quick to be thankful and you are overcoming fears readily. You like for your space to be clean and tidy. River is a constant in your life and you two really are best friends.  Cole is your most favorite person, and special time with Mimi or Kellye are always a delight to you! If you are not drawing you are in a princess dress fluttering though our living room, and dancing your heart out to veggie tales pandora. You are a delightful 5 year old and we are so proud of you!

She woke up this morning and asked if she could wear her 5 year old dress. Its her first one to have a 5t in the tag!
