I was reading in Isaiah a while ago, my heart constrained with a looming sadness caused by a bath of self pity, self righteousness and judgment. And the verse Isaiah 6:10 stuck out to me, "Render the hearts of these people insensitive, Their ears dull and their eyes dim..." That was me...Insensitive dull and dim.
Until asked the question, has your sin been forgiven taken away. I put my pen down and the Lord and I searched my heart. Regrettably but quickly I asked forgiveness from both him and my offendee. I turned to a video message talking about the lords intentions and I my heart was pierced, with tears I let the message wash over me.
The Lord and his forgiveness is unfailing, and he will turn our insensitive hearts into sensitive ones if only we ask.
