A new Season

Retreating into the Wilderness with Jesus

Lent is the season of Soul-searching and Repentance. 

I think its funny that God has brought us into this season, and we didn't plan it. It feels like it time to go to that place in-which we dread. Its time to go low, its time to ask forgiveness, Its time to surrender the possibility of failure, the possibility of death, the possibility of crushed pride, crushed emotions, broken hearts, and our comfortable life. 

As we begin this physically in our lives lord we say what ever you have for us, we only ask that we wouldn't have to go alone as you had to Jesus, but we ask that you would stay with us. That through every opposition and every failure that you wouldn't leave us. When the enemy tempts us to give in or to quit that you would be our strength and that you would give us the ability to say no to the schemes of hell - to say no to the accuser.
