When Lucy finished this one she held it out in front of her and quietly whispered wow.. As if she didn't know she could make something so beautiful
As we reviewed our letters this morning we came across our bodies and how they were made with skeletons in them... so we looked at skeletons on my phone and learned about bones and why we have them... of course they asked Mom are they scary? And we learned that they are not they are just the cool way that God has made our bodies... Then they pulled on their skin and felt their bones underneath... It was so natural... and really fun... the girls were very excited about it...
I know teaching children "about other things than art" is so common place for most moms... but it's quite the stretch for me... so this was fun... In fact we covered reading, geography, science and art in just a few short hours this morning... :)
